It’s really cool to project the image to the ceiling and watch movies while lying on the bed (I find it super relaxing, honestly). The speaker has an awesome sound effect and the bass makes you feel like you were on the scene!Īnother thing I love is the ceiling projection feature. The volume is loud n clear, and I don’t need to connect it to an external speaker that I was planning to. I connect it with my switch and play Zelda, I can see the rain details on the background!īut what I love more is the superb awesome audio! Surprisingly, its audio is way better than what I expected.
Even though it’s only 720p, it can project detailed image. I am so so so lovin’ this projector!! It’s exactly what I’ve expected! It has detailed and sharp image. To connect your phone with the projector simply go to Wireless Projection menu > choose smart control (note: make sure your phone is connected under the same WiFi as the projector!)Īnd here’s my honest thought about this BenQ GV30. You can also use a bluetooth mouse in Android TV for better control, and I found this really helpful.

Later, you can download Netflix from the Aptoide.Īfter Netflix is successfully installed, I also downloaded the BenQ Smart Control App which worked as the remote control to access Netflix better (especially for typing the movie title and choosing the movie). Go to Google Play, download Apps Manager then download Aptoide from Apps Manager. I can simply follow the steps and enjoy my Netflix.

Then I found a tutorial on Youtube here to install Netflix. This GV30 also doesn’t come with built-in Netflix app, meaning we need to download them manually. I suggest you need to be gentle when opening the cover cuz you won’t want to break it :)
There’s an HDMI for the dongle & micro-USB to power the dongle. You will need to insert the dongle first by opening the cover. When you open the package, you’ll find a nice carry case in yellow and grey. Since I haven’t seen any Redditors sharing their experience with this one, I think I can share my experience with you guys. I’m in love with the shape and design, and the design idea to project image with 135 degree projection angle is just so cool!
